The Cabinet Sub Committee meeting was held today at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh to address the legitimate
issues of different employees unions. This meeting was chaired by Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal. Hardeep Singh Mundian and Harbhajan Singh ETO were also present during the meeting.
Dhaliwal personally heard the demands of different employee unions and directed the concerned officers to make a policy for the regularization of outsourced employees after taking legal advice from the Advocate General, Punjab and release the pending salaries of outsourced employees till 31, March 2025. He asked the concerned officers to start the process for the recruitment of backlog posts of disabled persons.
Dhaliwal gave assurance to different employees associations that their legitimate demands would be fulfilled at the earliest and directed the officers to expedite their file work and find out where the files are lying pending.
3704 Adhyapak Union DC Sangrur, Samuh Mur Bahal Kache Adhyapak Union, MTU DC Sangrur, Adhyapak Union DC Sangrur who have completed 10 years of service, Vishesh Adhyapak Union(SDM Mohali), Computer Adhyapak Union Punjab and Computer Adhyapak Bhuk Hartal Sangharsh Committee (SDM Mohali), NYA and Theka Mulazim Sangharsh Committee(Water Supply), Powercom and Transco Theka Mulazam Union were present in this meeting.
